I'm black and into emo....my hair is thick and I need to make it straighter than it already is. I know all about the "swoop" and I want the emo hair style.

You could straighten your hair everyday, but perhaps just dying an afro black would be enough, or bleaching some of it.

oh honey. I think you may regret it if you get it done. If you must, go to your hairdresser and ask them to relax your hair. They should know what to do for you. Its hard for me to say what you need because I need to see your hair for myself. Good luck

bleech the ends and dont listen to dem other ppl...you do wat you want and ask for a "swooping" bang at a barber or hair salon...
