What do you want to know about them? Well I don't have a chihuahua per se, I have a pihuahua, I named her that because she's half pincher and half chihuahua. But I know both breeds, I can tell you they are the most adorable creatures on the earth, they are super-loving, they get really attached to you, and although they are very small they would try to protect you from anyone.
Besides they are low maintenance, they don't eat much, and you don't have to bath them very often, I bath my dog like once a year and she doesn't smell bad.

They are highly obnoxious if not trained properly. But can be very sweet. They suffer a lot from luxating patellas, which is basically a lose knee cap. They only get to about 10lbs max...and thats pushing it. They come in long or short hair of almost any colors..usually solid or two toned. They are prone to obesity and are often over 13 lbs which is terrible for their health. They live to about 14-16 years of age and sometimes longer than that. Most commonly they are snappy and growly at the vet and cause the most problems there. (i work at a vet and they are the worst dogs to vaccinate and restrain because of their attitudes) If there is anything else the AKC website has great information on chihuahua's for you.
Also, they are usually good for older children or households with no children.

You have to bring them to a vet when they have puppies because the birth canal is to small for the puppies to get through.
Also they are the smallest most adorable dog in the world.

I have an apple head chi that weighs 4lbs. What do you need to know about them? They are loyal to one person. Great lap dogs and are great all around dogs.
