I've made fruit kebabs and they went over big at the party. Yeah, you grill them and then drizzle with a little honey and/or chocolate. Hmmm, great after all that heavy meat at a barbeque. Everybody likes foodonastick. :-)

What would I like on a shiskabob? Use tender cuts of meat (pork, lamb,chicken, beef, whatever) cut into small chunks. Onions, green or red peppers, cherry tomatoes, chunks of apple with the pork (baking apples so they don't fall apart to mush), bacon wrapped around chunks of chicken breast, Oysters,...
Dang, now you got me thinking about it, I wonder what is in the fridge that can be cut up and cooked on a skewer. The onion should be sweet and cut into pieces about the same shape and size as the peppers. Pieces of solid ham with pineapple, I noticed the ham in the fridge and there is a can of pineapple slices around, the juice from the pineapple would make up into a sort of sweet and sour sauce for dipping, this might work for pork as well. I think I will Try that tomorrow. I have a lot of the bamboo skewers. Thanks!

this is what i use- sirloin steak tips marinated overnight in sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, garlic, onion powder, rice wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and brown sugar. vidalia onions, red bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, button mushroom caps only, and summer squash. grilled over medium high heat until done.

Marinated steak, mushrooms (soaked in some olive oil) peppers, red and yellow onion, grape tomatoes, pineapple and jalapeno!!!!SOOO DELISH!!!!!!

cut strips of sirloin, shrimp & pineapple chunks.... i make a honey mustard dip for the meat & the shrimp, but the bbq'd pineapple is deliscious by itself
