I need someplace to keep a bottle of smirnoff and I was thinking of keeping it in my car. Does anyone forsee any problems with this? i.e. it gets to around 5 degrees over here....so, freezing point? and also does the shaking around while I drive mess anything up? oh, if you're thinking "hmmm....problems..., alchohol in car....cops?" don't worry I thought of that already

No I'm not under age. The smirnoff is for a dance I'm going to with a friend. I've never had it and she loves it so she wants me to bring some..... were those the only questions...?

You can keep it where you like it make no difference and the temperature will have no effect other that that you will have a cold "Smirnoff", just curious why would you want to keep it in your car, don't you have a house or apartment or do you want to impress someone to showoff "like in the movies" that you have a car with a bar. Anyway keep it there and enjoy, cold Smirnoff is not bad

So this 'car' of yours must be parked in the driveway with webs on it because I don't feel you're old enough to drive and really know you're not old enough to drink! Anyone that 'drinks' knows that alcohol DOES NOT freeze. So I wouldn't worry too much about the freezing point. I, of course, have a freezer in my house so that's where I keep my alcohol ... it's a bit smarter of a place then my car, but then again, I AM old enough to have an open or unopened container of alcohol. Have fun being underage with alcohol in your car. Open or not, if your license (real one, because cops, unlike dumb *** bouncers, know the difference) says your underage, your *** is still busted no matter if it's in the trunk or in your lap. But do what you will. Personally ... if you don't know that alcohol doesn't freeze, you shouldn't be able to drink. That's just my opinion!

Uh, well if you leave the bottle closed while it is shaking and fizzing in your car there will be a huge amount of pressure and the lid could pop off, but most likely exploded( like shatter), and if it stays that cold there then when your drink freezes it expands as ice and your glass bottle will shatter.

Keep it in the trunk. Capped tightly. Don't worry about freezing.
