But I wanna know why too! Some people are stronger than others to make those so called good choices. I think it is depressing knowing that some will go to heaven and some hell. Why put people through that choice? I understand how you feel. It's almost like some sick game being played. It may be a choice, but for the neglected and abused it is not that easy. I bet all of you that are calm about the choice have either had a steady parental figure in your life, rather it be a mother father or some other steady person. Or you were just chosen (lucky you!) But if your pulled out by the roots just as they start to grow, then you never have a foundation no matter how hard you try! Maybe not who knows, you can Read the Bilble but if its not in your heart your a gonner, no matter what youve done.

Here is what God set before Adam and Eve: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” “And God also laid this command upon the man: ‘From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.’” (Gen. 1:28; 2:16, 17) Would you encourage your children to undertake a project with a marvelous future, knowing from the start that it was doomed to failure? Would you warn them of harm, while knowing that you had planned everything so that they were sure to come to grief? Is it reasonable, then, to attribute such to God?
If God foreordained and foreknew Adam’s sin and all that would result from this, it would mean that by creating Adam, God deliberately set in motion all the wickedness committed in human history. He would be the Source of all the wars, the crime, the immorality, the oppression, the lying, the hypocrisy, the disease. But the Bible clearly says: “You are not a God taking delight in wickedness.” (Ps. 5:4) “Anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates.” (Ps. 11:5) “God . . . cannot lie.” (Titus 1:2) “From oppression and from violence he [the One designated by God as Messianic King] will redeem their soul, and their blood will be precious in his eyes.” (Ps. 72:14) “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) “He is a lover of righteousness and justice.”—Ps. 33:5.
Our first parents chose to disobey God. Since God created them with the gift of free will, it would seem reasonable that he chose not to foresee what they would do. God wanted them to prove faithful so that all humans would live forever in perfection. Sadly, that did not happen then, but in God's due time, mankind will once again be able to enjoy what Adam and Eve lost.

God created men having numbered them all and known everyone before He even made Adam. Assume for a moment the total number was 1 trillion and that 1% in the end will dwell with Him as they have proven their faith. God created humanity for that 1% but out of love and hope gave the other 99% a chance. Sadly, the percentage of those who will be saved will probably be far less than 1%.
Matthew 7
13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Adam received a commandment to multiply and replenish the earth. He & Eve didn't realize they were naked until sin was introduced into the garden so needless to say, the law on not eathing from the tree had to be broken. Once sin was introduced, then they could learn good from evil as the name of the tree implied. Their sin has left us all to experience mortality and death. Christ was the sacrifice to allow imperfect moral beings to become immortal.
Yo Yo Mama, not all Christians believe in the rapture teachings. It was never believed or taught until the mid 1800s.

A parent lets a child borrow a car for a date - knowing the tank will come back 1/2 empty. The parent can still hope that the child is mature enough and grateful enough to fill it up.
Second question: Good one! Grammatically, a good share of this section of Genesis can be traced back to the Ugaritic saga of Gilgamesh. The Hebrew is awkward. Using the similar word phrase in other parts of the Bible, one might create the analogy of knowing good fruit from bad fruit by its taste, appearance and such. Thus this passage can - as one interpretation - deal with the awareness of the body as good, but not yet be aware of its "bad" such as death. This is partially borne out by the "leaf" going over the sexual parts. They had not been aware of their sexuality as nakedness - good, but when they had eaten of the tree, they became aware of/ashamed of - evil.
More than that is still theological speculation.

God never condemned us to a life of evil, he rescued us from it. Let me start at the beginning...Satan was once an angel and lived in heaven with God. He left God and introduced evil to the world through the apple he gave to Eve. (Understand that this is just a story, but the general principle is still there.) The bible says that a third of the angels also fell from heaven and became Satan's demons. Satan thought he had completely destroyed God's perfect world, but he didn't realize that God would stop at nothing to protect his people. God asked how much Satan would charge for the safe return of his people, and Satan replied, "your life." God essentially bought back his people and saved the world from Satan in the person of Jesus, who took upon himself the punishments of all the sins of mankind. How awesome is it to have a God who was willing to DIE to save our souls from Satan!!! God never condemned us from a life of evil, Satan did. God was the one who rescued us from it.

That is exactly what you do if you are to give freedom to a child to train the child to know the difference between right and wrong and to reward the child for doing the right thing.
You cannot punish the child for doing whats wrong if you tie the child's hands and feet and keep this child away from its environment.
There is good there is evil and there should be reward and punishment and there MUST be freedom to choose.

God made man and gave him a soul and mind. We can choose to be good or we can choose to be evil.
In life you have choices everyday, it is up to you to decide what is the right choice. If Adam chose to sin that was his choice, I don't think God made Adam for him to be perfect.
Not all people are perfect but need love and guidance. I think that is what God is about Love and Guidance.

To give man free choice. That is why there was a lamb slain from the foundation of the world. He had a plan for a church before He even created the earth.
