Not disrespecting the name--but as a young boy back in 1946
our german shepherd was named HITLER.
And we had him until about 1959. He was the best dog I ever had.
Another german shepherd (police dog reject twice) was named
SHAKE-- a mean female. but nobody ever broke into my home!

Some years ago a comic strip ran in the Sunday funnies about a family that had a big dufus of a dog (Which way did he go? Which way did he go?). The dog's name, which tickled me every time I saw it, was "Geddown."
