Does the bible say that if you get saved you're always saved,even if you "back-slide?"?

No The book of revelation discusses those whose names are blotted out of the book of life. Scripture also teaches that to be saed, you have to endure to the end. The teaching on salvation also requires repentance, water baptism in Jesus' Name, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and leading a separated lifestyle from the world.

You may want to try looking at this from a different angle. We don't decide on God as we would ownership of a pet. It's the other way around, God chose, and owns US. That makes the term "back-slide" completely irrelevant. Yes, once saved, always saved, and He's powerful enough to carry that out.

Very Few Children of GOD commit this sin.
It is very hard to Commit the Unpardonable Sin.
Back-Sliding (sinning after you are Saved)makes your Life uncomfortable. Sin has consequences.
When you sin, run To GOD and HE will Forgive you and Teach you how to put that sin Under your Feet and Keep on Living for GOD.

The way our pastor tells it, is that if you are in the will of the Lord, and have repented and been baptized you are saved from your sins. However, if you back slide, you are no longer in the will of the Lord, then you must ask forgiveness, and get back on track with the Lord. Believe me, if you do backslide ( or anyone), it's seems harder to get back in God's good graces. Maybe it's just me! God Bless You!

No Matt10:22 says 'He that endures to the end will be saved' So all those people thinking once theyre baptized theyre saved are wrong. You have to stay faithful to God til death. :)

Once a person is saved, is he always saved?

Jude 5, RS: “I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” (Italics added.)

Matt. 24:13, RS: “He who endures to the end will be saved.” (So a person’s final salvation is not determined at the moment that he begins to put faith in Jesus.)

Phil. 2:12, RS: “As you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (This was addressed to “the saints,” or holy ones, at Philippi, as stated in Philippians 1:1. Paul urged them not to be overly confident but to realize that their final salvation was not yet assured.)

Heb. 10:26, 27, RS: “If we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.” (Thus the Bible does not go along with the idea that no matter what sins a person may commit after he is “saved” he will not lose his salvation. It encourages faithfulness. See also Hebrews 6:4-6, where it is shown that even a person anointed with holy spirit can lose his hope of salvation.)

The Bible says that you WILL be saved, IF you endure to the end of your life. The modern manmade tradition of thinking you are "already saved" is not biblical, and is a very dangerous tradition. Satan would love for everyone on earth to think they are already saved, so they will relax in a sense of false security and stop working out their salvation as the Holy Bible commands us to do.

Time and again Paul likens the Christian’s course to a “race” that must be run to the finish. “Let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” he urged the Hebrews. (12:1, AV) To enter the race, sinners must take the steps necessary for salvation: hearing and accepting the Word of God, believing in Jesus Christ and his ransom sacrifice, repenting of their sins and being baptized. In this way, they get saved “from this crooked generation,” as Peter exhorted those gathered at Pentecost. Unbelievers are outside the race, having failed to enter by getting “saved.”Acts 2:37-40.

Once entered in the race by being “saved,” a Christian takes “hold of the life which is life indeed.” But is it possible to lose that grip on life? Paul answers with this question: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize?” In the Christian race, Paul indicates the “one” who receives the prize is anyone who finishes the race. Therefore, Paul urges, “So run that you may obtain it.” Then, using himself as an example to make the point of his illustration, he continues: “I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Tim. 6:19.

Evidently the apostle, who surely was a “saved” Christian, believed that even he could be “disqualified” from the race. Yet as long as he continued to ‘run that he might obtain’ the prize, thus remaining in the race, salvation was assured. This is why Christians who remain in the race can be said to ‘have everlasting life.’ But if they should ever quit the race, they are “disqualified,” losing their hold on everlasting life.

James 5:19,20 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
Galatians 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Romans 11:22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

I believe that God will never let a true believer go. The Holy Sprit will keep on reaching out to you until you repent and turn back to the Lord.

If you are truly saved, then once saved, always saved. I would imagine that a truly saved person who has back-slidden, would be a very unhappy person, though, because the conviction from the Holy Spirit is going to make you miserable.
