I flew back to the US from Canada 1 week ago. That's right. You had to have a passport to board the plane back in to the US, as well.
If you go to the airport without a passport, just see how far you will get, before they turn you away.

Not until Jan 1. Until you are a citizen, you need to keep up your Canadian passport. It will be stamped by the US consulate.

According to Canadian & US customs as of JANUARY 09/06 at 12:01 am no PASSPORT no crossing NO MATTER whether you drive fly or walk EITHER direction !!!!!!!
