Wow, there are some really really serious answers to this question. Just so you know I was just curious cause I was watching Aladin and Jafar is all "I want her to be desperately inlove with me" and had to know if it was true or not.

Probably only if that guy is somewhat insecure or perhaps he's in love with her too and wants to be overwhelmed by her love. Some guys run away from that kind of desperation...even women do. Tell your friend to even out the expression of love instead of bombard.

Doesn't everyone ultimately just want to be loved??? Cartoon or other wise it's the "happily ever after" we all seek....but we fail to realize that "happily ever after "does not exist unless u r Aladin and Jasmine.

i think they like to be flattered and know that someone likes them but too a point it gets annoing and weird-like u said- but everyone likes to know that they're loved?? don't you?? but there's a long way from realllly in love and obseesed-it doesn't have alot too do with desperate ness unless thats the only guy they can get and they're reallly afraid of losing them

no everyone loves a chase. if a girl/guy is harder to get the more of a prise they are once they are snagged
