We just broke up last night. While I'm a total mess trying to get over him, he seems to be doing fine without me. It really hurts b/c I care about him so much and I don't want to get over him. I've tried to get him out of my mind, but I can't...what am I supposed to do? Act like everything's fine when it isn't...

well my boyfriend and i dated for 3 years also and we broke up about two months ago, and i'll start off by saying there is nothing anybody can say or do to make you feel differently about the situation, when you loose something you have gotten so comfortable having in your life it's very hard to adjust. For me, i was very emotional about the whole break up first i was mad then confused then just upset.. but you'll later find out that it's not the end of the world... i've only seen him once since we broke up and he was with another girl and i have to say that has probably been the most upseting experience in my life.. but you just need to take care of yourself and if he wants you back he'll find his way back to you.. just remember that if it wasn't meant to be,, it just wasn't meant to be

Sorry to hear that. What was the main reason of breaking up? He must felt that you loved him more than he did, so he took advantage of that. Usually when you start a new relationship, your ex will be out of your mind automatically. Heh, find a new bf asap and show off in front of him to make him jealous? hah.

forget about him and have some fun!!! if he really loves you he will ask you out again, but if not the time to move along and meet some new people, there a lot of them in this whole wide world honey!!

Feel sad for while - that is normal. Treat yourself well. Don't be angry at yourself when you think about him, but don't spend too much time thinking about him.
