What could have cause this problem?

Well, it is a phsycological condition, not a physical one, which makes it hard to eliminate. Believe it or not a lot of people have similar condition, only to different things. An estimated 2% of the population have similar problem with white matter; like cheese, milk etc, others with water and other liquids!
Sure is weird, but there is no physical cure for it and it can only be cured through counseling. The patient however must recongnize it is a problem and want to do something about it. Do not forget that a lot of people are told while they are children that sex is wrong, disguting etc and this enforces fear of certain sexual aspects inclding the penis.

She may have been sexually abused or molested, or she may have been taught as a child that sexual intercourse is a sin which would bring out feelings of shame and/or guilt. Either way, this woman needs help to overcome her pain so she can get on with her life and find peace.

Try to find out if she has been raped at the past or if she has been bothered sexually by someone and made to her psychologically problems.if you want herr you may help her but be good and kind.if you are gonna discuus it be careful at the way you are gonna speak to her.if she trusts you she will be honest with you.you never know what happened...
