I have always been taught as a kid that people who aren't married shouldn't be having sex. But I've always wondered if I'm the only 28 yr old guy in the world that is a virgin.

Wow,so they really do exist!!!! That's really commendable!! I am actually very proud of you cuz not many men stick to what they have been taught. You should feel good and proud...don't cave into social pressure...And besides don't you get a good feeling that you have something that sets you apart from the norm....i mean not in a superior way, just different and unique. My advice is don't let being a 28 yr old virgin define you. I'm sure you have other excellent qualities, and being a virgin is just one of them. Hope this helps! ;-)

It is certainly uncommon. But I think that since you have made a conscious decision, that makes it less "weird" than other reasons, such as being antisocial.
I assume religion is the main source of your stance. Being an atheist myself, I have different set of morals. I do not think it is wrong to have premarital sex, but even so it needs to be done responsibly. It is a powerful action and men and women look at it VERY differently, so the chance for confusion and personal hurt is very real, not to mention STD's and pregnancy. However, as long you as are careful and are not abusing it or others, then I do not think sex is wrong.

No I don't think your weird - but, why haven't you had sex??? Are you shy or just haven't found the right person??? If your 36 and haven't had sex then come back and ask the question and my answer will be yes.
