I am not naive. If a guy doesn't want to take things further that is fine. But why do they go to the bother of taking my number and not calling? It is not like I am high maintenance or a bunny boiler. In fact, I am not the type to be crying into my pillow about it - if I like a guy I will call him myself... but why go through the whole charade? I ask, only because it happens a lot. And I don't want to say to them "Yeah, you can have my number but will you REALLY call me?" because that sounds horrible... I have loads of male friends (and a lovely big brother) who all insist that they always call a girl when they say they will. So what is going on?

If he doesn't call he's just not interested. People make an effort for what they want.

i must admit that i do this (first its not an ego thing) sumtimes i just find that i'm scared... 4whatever reason... insecurity?
othertimes i make excuses about why i can't; some are practical some are so definitely not but more often than not i will call a girl if i say i will & if i already know her (which is mostly the case) i might not call her because saying that i will conveys that she's in my thoughts enough so i 4get 2 call her assuming that she's already felt that 'its the thought that counts'

Men thinks short term ie seemed like a good idea at the time. Soething better came up or he forgot but either way he is not interested. Dont let it put you off its his loss. The right guys WILL call

Either b/c there too busy or they are forget about u and what your number is. Its a guy thing sometimes us girls do that to.

PERHAPS- They are being POLITE and attempting NOT to hurt your feelings but you can probably bet they aren't interested. As you said...YOU call when YOU are interested. So pick to ones that you really like and call them. Follow your feelings and persue them....Good Luck!!!!!!
