I heard that Coke can be fried (popular in Atlanta according to the commentators during a football game), how do you do it??

GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS IN COKE RECIPE

1 1/2 lbs chicken wings
1 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
6 ounces of COKE
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
Garlic to taste


1. Fry wings in the oil until brown

2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over wings in the pan

3. Cover pan and cook slowly for 45 minutes

4. Remove cover for the last 15 minutes to thicken

5. Watch carefully, turning often

I don't know how they do it but it is for real. Fried Coke is being sold at the Texas State Fair. One of the local news did a article about it. Maybe it was DFWFox4. Sounds strange but the newscasters sure liked it.

My xwife liked to fry chicken and just before it was done, she'd pour a can of coke into the pan and let it simmer for an hour or so.

No, it can't, because it's a liquid. It can be boiled or cooked with, but not fried, persey. It can also be used with a kleenexs tissues, or napkins, to clean leather shoes.

um like put it in a pot or pan and just like put the heat on HIGH and stir..
