I like Lilac but cannot choose a color to go with it.
We are getting married on a softball field.
Please Help!!!!

Since you're getting married on a softball field, I would only go with the one color. Use the white of your dress and black as complimenting colors. You don't want too much business going on, I'd keep it pretty simple. Good Luck & many congratulations!!!

I don't think so, no. I'm using lilac in my wedding (this June). We're doing lilac, white, with little touches of other purples here and there. I think lilac and cream would be nice as well. I don't think any color is childish. If done right, any color can look very elegant.

Lilac, good choice...I had the same color for my wedding. I'm not sure if you are using Lilac as the girls dresses or if you are trying to find a color of a flower that would go with it.
My girls dresses were Lilac and then I choose to go with pink to accent it. It wasn't the bright pink that you would think of but a softer pink with white flowers in my girls bouquets and also in the center pieces.
I was a little hesitant of the pink but when I finally saw the bouquets I knew I had made the right choice.

A nice green can look amazing with lilac, and a gold-yellow colour would be nice too. Stay away from pink, to much of a candy colour. But as it is in April, purple with the lilac would probably look nice too.

Congratulations! Lilac is such a beautiful color, especially in the Spring. You might want to check out sterling roses at the florist. Ivory would be so beautiful with lilac. Best wishes.

I would say green(sage) . . however It may be over kill since you are getting married on a softball field. I would have to go with white or a cream color . . .It will bring out the lilac that you like so much andd contrast beautifully with the green softball field.

White goes nice with lilac. Very dreamy! If you like to 'garden it up a bit' since you'll be on a ball field, choose varies other pastel colors of green, blue, pink and yellow, even pink. Make it a garden but keep it simple...not too frilly.

-My sister is getting married and her colors are chocolate, lilac, and light pink. So there is an idea.
-Another Idea is just light pink and lilac, those look really nice together..in my opinion.
-White goes with everything too.
_Lilac and dark purple have looked good together too, I have heard that people put them together a lot.

I am glad I am not in your wedding party and forced to buy an ugly purple dress. Sorry but it's true. How about an elegant black and white theme with lilac as an accent color instead of the main color?
