icheeknows has it right. This is not a new concept. It is a current religous belief. Lots of folks believe in the concept of oneness. And so if it is true it really changes nothing because if you hurt another you are only hurting yourself. So morals still apply. As far as the illusion you can't see past it so knowing it still changes nothing. You still need to eat ,drink and sleep. You cannot walk through walls.

If your idea has any mileage in it then a pretty smart God would surely want to cover his tracks by preventing his earthly body and mind,(you), from being able to imagine such a situation . Otherwise He (you) has not done a very good job of the experiment and God of course would make the best ever job of it would'nt he . So you aint no god ,sorry .

The world is filled with many false views of God. People without a knowledge and relationship with God tend to create their own 'gods' - and this is what you are seeking to do here!
The God of the Bible is the Creator; He is transcendent; He is holy; yet He has not separated Himself from that which He has made. He is actively involved. He is near. He is immanent. It is in KNOWING Him that you can have eternal life and blessing. Only in KNOWING Him can you understand and fulfill your purpose for living.
Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him, while He is near....says the Bible

Hey! It's questions like that, that make me think this is why He made us. To be curious, to explore the vast miraculous earth He made just for US! Jeeez-us? Li'l ole us? Jesus, He is so amazing and I believe there is a bit of His divinity in all of us. What if you were right? What if He lives thru us? What if those of us who truly try to be like Him, will have cut-sies in the line to Paradise? Maybe my dear, maybe. God bless.

If I was God - I would not exist, I would just be the figment of
somebodys imagination that spawned a load of wishfull thinking
sheep (or most likely - non thinking sheep) to just keep repeating
nonsense.

You know that would make a very interesting story or movie or theory.
Sort of a looking from the inside of the box instead of the outside of the box.
I think we all have a bit of God in us. He created us in his image, so why not have pieces of God in us. All living things have God in them.... its a nice thought.

The Pharoh of Egypt had this delusion.
It wasn't very good for him and it won't be good for anyone else who wants to follow the same path.
And (remember) when We separated the sea for you and saved you and drowned Firauns (Pharaoh) people while you were looking (at them, when the sea-water covered them).
( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #50)

In the state of being we are in we lose track of the power within us. You are on to something...the truth of our existence. Just as I talk to you is how we communicate out of the flesh. That is because we are all from the same source. You are very perceptive.

If, in the beginning there was only god, then logically, we are all just extensions of this god, from nothing comes nothing. So, If there be a god, then all "Creation" is part of it.
