I need some tips, What type of things do guys like to talk about, and what do they like in a girl ?

we are actually pretty easy to talk to. i mean, you got things like sports,cars, outdoor things..about the liking in a girl, im pretty sure that every guy has different taste in girls.. oh and theres another thing to talk about to him, ask him what he looks for in a girl..thats a good one ;)

Most of us are into sports, whether or not we actually participate. Most of us are into cars and many of us are into motorcycles. You'll impress the most guys if you learn all you can about NASCAR and can name the top two or three contenders.
A fair number of us are into "outdoor sports", by which I mean hunting and fishing. If the guy you wanna impress does that, at least learn to discuss the topic without going ballistic over "murdering bambi". You will impress him if you rant about hunting being cruel, etc and etc, but not in the way you might wish.
We don't really start talking politics and all that until we're in college or even later. But get to know about the guys who do; they're often the steadier, more thoughtful, more responsible kinda guy you'd hope for in a marriage partner.
As for music, we're all over the charts (pun intended)! A fair number of us like a certain music genre, some of us are generalists in that we like everything from, say, rock to country, and a few of us couldn't care less about music.
What we like in a girl is one who shares our interests or makes an effort, at least. We prefer girls who're honest, in shape, smart but not obnoxiously so...and yes, because we're programmed that way from birth, we do look at the prettiest girls first. You can help level that playing field by keeping your weight under control, dressing neatly and keeping your hair looking good. Y'don't have to run out and spend hundreds of dollars at Fredericks of Hollywood (not that the school would let ya wear that stuff to class anyway) or Armani's, but you can dress in clean casual clothes in good (meaning no rips, holes, or lots of patches) repair.
There - that oughta give ya some goals to aim for! But you REALLY wanna impress? The Marines are looking for a few good women, too!

guys really don't like to talk, but since girls think its a must then talk about something he is interested in. NOT shopping or anything girly

Fishing...
But mostly ask him,or i should say get him to discuss things that YOU also enjoy...
As there are two in a relationship lady...
Not just your man...but you also...equality...

Football & beer are good conversation starters. And of course, lingerie and sex.
Men like different things in women, so sorry can't really answer that part of your question.
