If you're an open lesbian as well, make sure she knows that. You should become her friend and flirt with her. If she likes you, she'll probably put on the moves. Also, don't listen to dumbasses like that ninja guy that commented before me. Never feel bad about who you love.

Invite her to sleep over at your house and talk about the cruel injustices of people who stay in the closet. If she is "out" I would simply ask her how she came to know she was a lesbian, what personal demons she fought with, etc...At the very least she will know that you understand her and aren't being judgmental;

Since you already know her sexual preference, just ask her for her phone number in private. If you don't know if someone is interested, just ask them if they've ever kissed another girl.
