Please don't say ask him out. I need more than that. I've known him for so long, and he doesn't flinch or pull away when I put an arm around him or anything because we are such good friends. He is always switching from girl to girl on who he likes and he really clings to me and calls me alot, i've been helping him get the girls he likes, but if they say no, he really doesn't care. I don't know what to do, I REALLY don't want to be turned down. I just really like him.

Ask him what kind of person he is looking to fall in love with. That is a good way to see if a friend is NOT in love with you or MAY be in love with you. You will know if he is saying things that are true of you or things that you are not. It can also be a way to steer the conversation to him asking you out if you ask the right questions.

Instead of asking him out, make him come to you. Flirt subtly and maybe drop some hints that he should like someone more like YOU instead of all those other girls.

Why not say to ask him out? If you want something in life you have to reach out and grab it. You can't wait for life to happen. You have to make it happen. So...ask him out!
