when it comes to the idea of first time sex happing when it "just feels right", etc., isn't it pretty easy for it to feel right when kids and teens are completely horney and bursting with adolescent or pre or post puberty hormones? doesn't that set a dangerously foolish standard with a policy like that? it's like giving your kids a crate of grenades and saying "only play with these if you feel like a pyromaniac... and please, do it safely."?

if you don't agree, explain why. if you do agree, give proof, etc. to support our possition.

if you want to use granades, great: wait until you can join the army.

if you want to have sex great: wait untill you can get married and simplify things. comeon, commons sense is *so* not old fassio

there's a lot to be suggested for restraint, yet that's a call. the advice isn't "even as it feels good", yet "even as it feels suitable". even as a pair feels that the benefits outweigh the hazards, then that's ideal FOR THEM. practise and social duty should be factored in, yet yet restraint might want to be as incorrect for individuals as rushing. Openness is a few distance extra suitable to an ethical code damaged in secret.

O.K. I have a 14 (almost 15) year old boy. I would be a COMPLETE idiot if I thought for one minute he doesn't think about SEX, What I have ALWAYS told him though is this.....If you are TOO immature to walk into a pharmacy and purchase condoms You are probably TOO immature to be having SEX, HOWEVER...IF you think you're gonna have SEX and are too emabarrased to buy the condoms, PLEASE tell me and I will buy them for you.I have explained MANY times that he should wait until he is married, BUT unfortunatly that is NOT realistic. I do talk to him about sex frequently and invite him to ask me questions. I try not to make it uncomfortable for him to talk to me, and have told him he should at least be "in Love" that sex is a big step...But if they're gonna do it, they're gonna do it, I would rather him be protected. A baby is the least of it, I'm worried about AIDS and herpes, those types of things and I talk to him about STD'S so hopefully he will wait, He say's he is still a virgin....

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.
