Relatively cheap and warm and sunny. Where I could easily get flights to and would give me a long term return on my money. Anyone who can give me info and pitfalls to watch out for would be loved!

Thailand. You can buy a brand new bar in chaing mai for 10 grand fully furnished and ready to go. Houses from 15 grand upwards for a 3 bedroom apartment. However, the commute is a bit of a trek!

orlando, sounds a little far but it has everything u look for, relativly cheap and you can rent it when your not using it to holiday makers who want to go to places like disneyland, universal studios etc... when u fly with companies like virgin tlantic or continental u can get relativly cheap flights on the internet, then u can build up airmiles to visit other places in the world.
a few friends of mine have done that, and what they make from the rental, pays for the mortgage and the vast majority of their flts per year. they also save money on everyday things, as frequent travellers with constant access to cheap american prices not to mention duty free. u can imagine, its a good little earner.

Portugal is really nice. You get really nice villas for good prices. Try the outskirts like Porto, Faro or Lagos.

Madeira is cool, Cristiano Ronaldo live there & so does most of the famous Portuguese footballers. So you're bound to get good dividends on ur property.
