you may have an infection in your throat (pharynx) or your voice box (larynx), your upper respiratory has so many cavities which two of them are called, your thyroid and parathyroid that could be the problem and should be looked at. Streptococci, a bacteria, make sure you don't have what is called GAS. That's only if you have a content/persistent throat pain. Antibiotics needs to be prescribed possibly, but note they are not to be taking any longer than the first complete doses, so you don't develop.. Organ toxicity, hypersensitivity, and/or Superinfection, which are called Adverse reactions.

Could be strep throat. See a doctor or urgent care to have a swab done. Strep is very contagious and you can become even sicker letting it go untreated.

you could have a sore throat (tylenol sore throat is the best meds for that) or you could have tonsillitis. If it persists, I would see a doc. More than likely it could be a sore throat.

You might have tonsilitis. If you do, and it doesn't get treated, you will probably have to have them surgically removed. So go see the doc asap.
