Don't be a prat.

They shave, I am sure some don't. Just like there are some Americans that don't, I am sure. But there is no reason. I do believe it was a trend at one time, but they shave.

It would be interesting to know what prompted this question. I believe that most women (worldwide) who have access to a razor, do indeed shave their underarm. Of course your always going to have those who choose not to, just as their are women who choose not to shave their legs.

I've done a lot of travelling and can't receall ever seeing more than a few women who didn't shave. And I'd have to say that almost all were in the US.

Didn't they start shaving about 20 years ago. I know they didn't use to.

They do its just a meaningless sterotype like we Europeans think Americans are obese, stupid and heavy handed in wars :)
