Isn't it interesting - all the bitter hatred in response to this question?
These folks are always talking about how they only are against ILLEGAL immigrants, but clearly their anger is directed toward all immigrants.
A nice question that punctures all the self-righteous pontification of the rabid anti-immigrant crowd. Well done.
Oh - to actually answer your question, I would have no problems with anyone in such a situation. But, of course, I believe essentially everyone who wants to come here is already here, and immigration enforcement has transformed into little more than another excuse to give my tax money to major corporations.

If all the illegals were given amnesty, that would just mean 40 million more illegals would arrive here next year demanding amnesty. Pretty soon, this would no longer be the United States of America.
People SHOULD NOT BE REWARDED for breaking our laws.

That should never happen again that illegal immigrants in the USA are given amnesty. It didn't fix things the previous times amnesty was given - only made illegal immigration worse than ever! However, if it does happen, of course they won't be sent back, but I do hope very much that it does not happen! I do not want to reward illegal immigrants for being here illegally and queue jumping ahead of others who take the time to immigrate legally. That would send the WRONG message yet AGAIN!

Yes, because they came here in an illegal manner. They should not be given amnesty for putting the cart before the horse. You get the documentation FIRST. Then come in.

If it does happen we should than abolish all laws and police and jails and lawyers. Because it wouldn't be right to tell the illegals they broke the law but it's ok and here is your free ride, we would have to set free all the other scum to.

Yes Jobs and housing in this country are hard enough to find. Immigrants come in and work for pennies and make it hard for everyone here.
