how do you save a dvd on to your computer?

I want to save final fantasy 7 AC to my computer so I can make a AMV... Any one know how to save that movie on to my pc?

let me see if i understood properly,
you want to "rip" a whole file from a C.D.

if your saying yes, then i have a software called "Sonic" it came with my laptop. i usually "burn" music and movie files on to a blank CD.

Look for an app called a DVD ripper. On Mac it's called MactheRipper. Should be similar apps for windows.
