I think so. There was an hour-long program on PBS about Seabiscuit. That program was actually better than the movie. The movie was made after the PBS program, I'm sure they got the idea from that. Poke around PBS.org for awhile and I bet you can track down that program. It's got original footage, I'm pretty sure.

Yes there are two. They is Seabiscuit (America's Legendary Racehorse) byDelta and Seabiscuit by PBS Videos. Both are on DVD now.

well the movie that was just made not too long ago with toby mcguire had original footage and if i'm not mistaken so did the original movie
