Why did he beg God to save him from this fate?

Mar 14:35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

Mar 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Or may be he knew that "Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree"

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

But what happned actually?
Did God save him or left him to be crusified?

I think it's more than clear that he didn't want to be crusified .. so he asked God to save him .. there is nothing called original sin / inherited sin .. everyone is accounted on his own actions .. and God doesn't need to be crusified to forgive people's sins .. And Yes .. God saved Jesus.

AS EVERY BODY KNOWS THE SIGN OF JONAH

AND MANY CONTRADICTIONS PROVED THAT HE WAS NOT DIED ON CROSS

BUT THE GLORIOUS QURAN SAYS HE WAS RAISED UP ALIVE TO THE HEAVEN AND WILL HAVE TO COME BACK AS A MESSIAH FOR THE MANKIND AS A FOLLOWER OF ISLAM

BECAUSE HIS ACTUAL TEACHING WAS SAME AS GLORIOUS QURAN

It's nice to c somebody use scriptures in their question. Jesus did pray like u say, for he knew the enormous problem that was on his shoulders to resolve, which is why he asked his father for help from that. His most important desire was to do the will, and any man , even a perfect one, would have doubts and negative feelings about what was going to happen. Only thru Jesus' sacrifice , did mankind have a chance. After his prayer, the angels strengthened him and he went thru a most horrible ordeal, but not once did he turn back. He had enourmous faith that his father would resurrect him on the third day, which all the gospels bear witness too. If God had saved him, we wouldn't have a redemption from the curse that the Mosaic law so perfectly pointed out.

Although Jesus delighted to do Jehovah’s will, this was not always easy. Consider what happened just before his arrest, trial, and execution. While in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was “deeply grieved” and got “into an agony.” So intense was the emotional pressure that, as he prayed, “his sweat became as drops of blood falling to the ground.”—Matthew 26:38; Luke 22:44.

Why did Jesus experience such agony? Certainly not because of self-interest or any reluctance to do God’s will. He was prepared to die, even reacting strongly to Peter’s words: “Be kind to yourself, Lord; you will not have this destiny at all.” (Matthew 16:21-23) What concerned Jesus was how his death as a despised criminal would affect Jehovah and His holy name. Jesus was aware that his Father would be greatly pained to see his beloved Son treated in such a barbaric fashion.

Jesus also understood that he was approaching a pivotal time in the outworking of Jehovah’s purpose. Faithful adherence to God’s laws would demonstrate beyond doubt that Adam could have made the same choice. Jesus’ faithfulness would expose as entirely false Satan’s assertion that humans under test would not willingly and faithfully serve God. By means of Jesus, Jehovah would ultimately crush Satan and remove the effects of his rebellion.—Genesis 3:15.

What an enormous responsibility rested on Jesus’ shoulders! His Father’s name, universal peace, and the salvation of the human family all depended on Jesus’ faithfulness. Realizing this, he prayed: “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet, not as I will, but as you will.” (Matthew 26:39) Even under the severest stress, Jesus never faltered in his willingness to submit to his Father’s will.

God loosed the pains of death, with great power Jesus went to the pits and he got the keys, to death and hell, and he was resurected on the 3rd day, and he is alive forever more. Christ was in a human body, and he was as strong as they get, because he prayed, not myy will but thy will be done, he knew he was going to suffer great pain, and he prayed that maybe there was another way, but he knew God was the wise one, and he prayed that God do it his way. and thats what he did. No greater love hath man, then to lay down his life, for a friend. God didn`t leave him, God was there all along, Gods anger showed after Christ died, remember it got dark, and the temple was rent into, which temple was it that was rent into? People need to check this out seriously.

The mission of Christ was to reverse the effects of what occurred with Adam and Eve - both physical and spiritual death. When they ate the fruit and were cast out, they became subject to PHYSICAL death. They no longer were in God's presence, so also became subject to SPIRITUAL death. Christ died to reverse these two deaths. He was half God, half man, so had control over his spirit and body and became resurrected; thus, we can also be resurrected now. And because he paid for our sins with his suffering (in the Garden, where he sweat drops of blood due to the pain threshold, and not just on the cross later) we can also return to God's presence IF we repent and follow Christ's example and commandments. The resurrection is a free gift to all, but returning to God's presence is conditional on our own behavior and obedience (i.e., faith without WORKS is dead).

Yes. The point of all of Christianity is that he was crusified for the sins of all mankind, yet was resurected.

It is a Christian thing.

Well, according to the Bible (which is the only thing we can rely on - I mean there's no one around still from that time era to verify this) it said that Jesus died for us, and I'm sure in Jesus's pain and suffering he probably did ask God, why do you forsake me and do this to me, and I'm sure it was hard on God to do this to him, being as God was his father - but he arose him from the dead 7 days later and he sits on the right hand side of GOD as we speak. So, say the Bible - and I believe in the Bible. Some parts of it (I admit) are confusing but it's a good book.

He was merely a blasphemer and heretic to the Jews and a revolutionary to the Romans.

Therefore, by all the laws of the time, he was rightfully executed.

As for begging god to save him, how many of you have at some time in your lives said "god help me" ?

A strange point also, why in the Mar 14:36 use ONE word in Hebrew - ie. Abba for father. then writing all the rest in english - did the translator perhaps think it was more mystical??

anyway, to finish it, the imaginary superalien in the sky did precisely nothing and JC snuffed it keeping both the Jews and the Romans happy.

Great question!

Please consider these tidbits:

Jews for Jesus = Vegetarians for Hamburgers

God? He or She?

Church? Christianity? Jesus? Dying?

What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?

Does Imacculate Conception have anything to do with "VIRGIN BIRTH"?

Google Imacculate Conception and learn that is NOT.

What else do you falsely believe?

Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Can Gods die?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?

No Eternal sacrifice, big deal for a day!

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

Life after death is like virginity after childbirth.

If the flesh of Jesus died, what was seen walking and talking on Sunday?

If you believe this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to believe it too to validate you.

Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.

Believing and not thinking is like choosing to be lost.

P.S.

Jesus is the son of Mary who was anointed Christ. He was sinless, since his Father is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was born to die for your sin nature, to redeem you from the curse of the law.
While in the garden of gethsemane, he suffered in anticipation of the ordeal he was about to go through physically. He was willing because he loved his Father, but more importantly, he loved you.
He was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead.
