I'd just cut off your leg and call it a day.

you have to make sure of a number of things
1. that you do not introduce infection into the wound and that you may allready have an infection brought in by the knife you may need antibiotic cover. what ever is available cephalexin amoxacillin cloxacillin
2. when pulling out the knife you have to make sure that there are no main arteries cut they spurt in a rythmic fashion quite a long way also veins tend to flow you will also need a lot of dressings these will also need to be clean and sterile as will any equipment you use such as suturesand clamps haemostats etc remember to use pressure to stop the bleeding use pressure just above where the main arteries go towards the wound
pain managment is also an issue as is shock due to loss of blood depending on severity of the pain you may use paracetamol (acetaminophene in the usa) + codeine= tylenol for mild to moderate pain tramadol (ultacet in the usa) is good for moderate pain and morphene is good for sever pain
I hope that this is just an inquirey if it really happens you will need to go to the hospital even though something illeagal may have gone on there is an excellent book called, where there is no doctor should be able to find it on amazon

IT IS RECOMMENDED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL, BUT THEIR IS A HOME SOLUTION.
1. lay on the floor towards the knife stays perpendicular to the floor.
2. Gently grab the knife and pull it really slow.
3. As soon as you take it out. wash the cut area with fresh water.
(It may stop infections.)
4. carefully put some alcohol on a piece of cotton and rub it gently on the cut area.
5. After that I would call the hospital or try burning the area, or sewing it.

GOOD LUCK!!!

If this is for real-you should not remove but go to Emergency for if knife is in vein it will spurt blood ,if that happens by the time you call 911 and the Emergency Medics get to you you've lost a lot of blood, very real possibility that you can bleed to death-does not take long.If yyou are conerned that questions will be asked and of legal consequences its that or take the risk You decide

that is like the worse thing to do is remove the knife...it if hit a main artery you could bleed out and the will not be good.. I would go to the hospital get it checked out to make sure that there is no damage to the area to be safe... good luck and dont pull it out..

If the knife is in so deeply that you have to wonder how to get it out you need to go to the ER.
You probably need a tetanus booster shot too. It should be washed out in the ER, and you may need antibiotics too depending on how dirty the knife.
If it is near a joint, then you may acutally need surgery to make sure that the joint isn't compromised/affected.

Hilarious dork. You should really go to the hospital for something like that though. You could have hit an artery and when you pull it out you could bleed to death.

Grit your teeh ,pull it out straight
and be prepared ,because all the pain starts then
presaure your leg so that it wont bleed too much and put in some anti septic and make a tight bandage.
this worked for me
have a few drinks if you are old enough.

stupid. if it is in a major vein or artery and you pull it out you could bleed to death. I'd go to the hospital to have it removed.

Funny until you realize that you've severed your femoral artery and you find your self bleeding out uncontrollably until you pass out and die in a pool of your own blood.

Hilarious LOL! Just jerk it out! If it's gushing blood and you can't get it to stop burn the area. Will leave horrible scar, but hey you didn't want to go to the hospital LOL
