or the usual like jam, marmalade,
i used to spinkle a little sugar on toast sometimes that was quite nice
poached egg is nice just drain all the water off or the toast gets wet lol

butter is very nice with a cup of tea.
But try this for change.
butter the bread, cover one bread with cheese sprinkle some onion, slices of tomatoes pinch of salt and place it in a sandwich toaster. wow...... very delicious. ( If you like it chilli hot. Then there is a paste called Kashmiri masala. You can but it in the Indian shop. It should look dark and not runny spread some on the bread before placing the cheese. with or without onion and tomatoes still very nice to eat) and have a cuppa.
