No, that would just make you look stupid afterwards, wearing a wet coat - their shoes would do most of the protection anyways. If the puddle was that deep as to the shoes wouldn't protect the feet, then the coat isn't going to help.
Carry the chick, that's the best thing!

No I wouldn't, seems a bit silly to get your coat wet :)
If she was light enough, I'd carry her over, or we'd walk around the puddle!

No chance, my coat is to keep me dry and she got shoes to keep her feet dry, I'd push her in the puddle if she wont walk round it!

Depends if i was wearing a coat or not really.
If i was then Yes, I don't see why not.
If it was my "sweetheart", although not found her yet.
If i was not wearing a coat, then no but would lay down for her to walk across me instead.
