This is an inter denominational event. All Christians are asked to fast one meal a day during the next 30 days and spend time in intercessory prayer for the Church, its leaders, unsaved friends and loved ones, the countries in which we live, and healing.

How interesting Bobgoddard, I had not heard that at all... about the UPCI sponsoring a 30day fasting and prayer session.

I PRAY ever day for all on my (mental) list and the requests on the Yahoo HE Prayer Group site.
(Fasting should result from long spells of PRAYER, so intense that one forget to eat.)
The GOD is not impressed with us not eating, beating ourselves, cutting our self, or what ever!)
