When i first went on them i got a UTI and the effects were needing to go to the toilet but very little happening when i got there, and a small burning sensation too.
If you have this or your problem persists you should see a doc quite soon !.

Not sure what you are on the steroids for but be very careful with some of the advice that is on here. You were prescribed these strong and potent drugs for a reason. when you come of them it should be done in a controlled way. Steroids have many side effects so do lots of drugs. Just because you are taking them it does not mean that you will get all or any of the side effects. Long term use does tend to increase the chance of getting side effects. As for you bladder problem - if you have an infection which is possible go to yr gp, the nurse can test your urine to see if it is infected. A short course of anti biotics will make you feel so much better. the nurse may even be able to prescribe them for you. If you do have an infection and dont get it treated it will only get worse and that is not a pleasant thing. Hope you get well soon.

Short term is argumentative. Some say that there are no short term side effects, but when I took 9 days worth of prednisone, I was exposed to big time mood swings, could not sleep at nite and I sweat a lot, and developed a yeast infection under my armpits.
I hope yours stays short term. Not a fun thing to go thru.

changing your certainly-produced testosterone can and could make your testicles smaller as they develop into lazy from no longer having to produce the hormone your physique needs. they are basically instructed to sluggish or provide up testosterone production in keeping with the severe T levels interior the blood. Kinda like once you have a broken arm for a protracted time, once you get out of the solid the muscle groups would be smaller because of the fact they have not been used for awhile.

When I was on them I got a UTI also and yeast infection. Then a ear infection two weeks later lol. Steroids lower down your immunity and can cause you to require antibiotics.

Itll cause weight gain, and other problems. My brother in law was on them for 10 yrs and recently almost died. He has very thin skin, severly thin skin. He has holes in his intestines and he looks very old. He was on his death bed before he went to a doc. They hospitalized and they discovered all these things.
He almost died from steroids. They are very BAD. You should get off of them if youre on them. Look at what they did to Jerry Lewis. Theyre poisen if stayed on them too long.
