I really cant believe you are asking this question on here. Take some responsibility by taking the dog to the vet. If the dog has been limping for almost a month there is a SERIOUS problem. Some people just shouldn't own dogs.........Edit: so ride your schwinn!!

We have a chihuahua also and he wasn't walking on his back leg and we thought that it was his paw or muscle, well we went to the vet and found out his hip was out of place.. nothing that we did.. the vet said that he probably did it while running really fast and took a turn to fast and his hip just came out of place.. but defin go see your vet.. make sure you ask about the hip b/c our dog wasn't eating right and lost weight and the vet said that it was b/c of that so the next visit he told us that it was his hip..

If she doesn't have anything you can see in the paw.. it might be something broken. Little dogs can break their bones easily. I had a Pomeranian that broke her foot just by jumping off the 2nd step from the bottom to the floor! Sheesh. Good Luck - hope it's just a thorn or splinter

There is no way anyone on Yahoo Answers could know what is wrong with your dog's paw. For this one you are going to have to take her to the vet. Sorry :(

Her paw or leg may be broken. Have you taken her to the vet? If you have and whatever he/she prescribed isn't working, then maybe you need to go back to the vet or get a second opinion.
If you haven't seen a vet, then you need to schedule an appointment.

you need to take her to the vet. my chihuahua had the same thing and it turned out that she had hit her head and caused her to have seizes and sometimes not able to walk on her paw.

Did you check her paw? She might have something stuck in it. Or she got a door closed on her door. Or maybe she has a joint problem.
