I think about contradictions mostly: like how come human beings are capable of such extremes of both brilliance and creativity as well as such stupidity and destruction and is there a middle way that is not dull? Like how come that politics has lost its way and is so unpopular when it is about our lives and our interests and so should be vital and interesting? Like how come religious people of all faiths who have founders who believe in tolerance and Love, find an excuse to kill and harm each other and still claim the 'moral high ground'. etc
