You can do all of the above and you will be a bad role model for your children but
you will be a bad role model more by the way you feel and what you say, "I did not not ask to be a role model"
than you would by drinking, smoking or swearing
kids learn by "do as I say not as I do"

I would not recommend that! That's for sure.
Would you want your kids to pick up your bad habits? That wouldn't be the greatest thing. You have to think about second hand smoke that can harm your children! Your kids did not ask to be brought in this world either! Nor did you ask to become a role model for your children but, my advice to you is try not to encourage that behavior upon your children. Why would any one want to drink, smoke, curse etc. in front of their kids any way? Why so they can go to school calling all the kids and the teacher bad names because they picked up a bad habit from their mother and they get suspended from school. NOT RIGHT! That's ok though cause when they get suspended from school guess who has to go to their school and talk to their Principal and then have to deal with them the rest of the week that they suspended? Y.O.U! That is your choice to set a good example for your children no one else can do it for you!

When you have a kid, you're a role model no matter what. Your choice is simply if you're going to be a good or bad role model.
Smoking in front of your kids does expose them to secondhand smoke, which is brutal on thier developing lungs.
Drinking in front of them might scare the, depending on what kind of drunk you are.
Swearing in front of them is going to teach them to swear, which will cause trouble for them with their teachers, peers, and their friend's parents, who will think that your kids are a bad influence.
Honestly, it sound like the behavior you're modeling is setting the stage for you to raise some right trashy adults. I think you should either not do these things in front of them (can't you wait till they're in school or sleeping, like every other parent does) or give your kids up for adoption.
Honestly, how can you look in their little faces and not want to help them become the best people they can be? Perhaps you should take a parenting course, becaus efrom what you wrote it sounds like you resent your children. Really, they never asked to be born - YOU brought them here.

Yes you did ask to become a role model when you decided to have kids.
Can you? Yes, Should you? NO NO NO NO!!!!!!
Apparently it was done in front of you for you to even ask this question! Do you really want your children to turn out like you? A parent who doesn't care about their children!!
Stop acting like a teenager and be a responsible parent!

We are role models for our kids. That said, while I don't drink or smoke, I admit that I can swear like a sailor. I try not to in front of my kids, but it happens- especially in the car. Thank goodness my 11 yr old and 9 yr old are better people than their mother and reprimand me as they vow to never swear.

even though you didn't ask to be one, you're still the #1 role model that your kids look up to . . . and unless you want them to drink, smoke and curse, I would suggest you not do those things in front of them . . .

You shouldn't have had kids if you didn't want to be a role model. All kids look to their parents for an example of how to behave. Child Protective Services need to come in and investigate your terrible parenting skills.

You did not ask to be a role model, but your children did not ask to be born.It is your responsibility as a parent to a role model to them. you have to decide what kind of people you want your children to grow up to be and you have to act appropriately. It is your actions they will copy. You don't need to be a saint, just make sure your children are not around when you want to do those things.

It is advisable that you avoid creating nuisance in front of ur kids.
You might not want to be a role model for them
But you will realize later in life... what you've done to them
Maybe they'll pick some of ur precious qualities n imply them on u.
Maybe they'll pick some n misuse it, being caught out of d blue...
