I work in a Personal Care Home, This certain resident ( a man ) has a crush on me. He gives all the other Employees things too, Like candy, other little things. Well a while a ago I went to my boss about this man trying to kiss me on the lips. Hes an old man 81.
Well nothing was ever done about it. Thought it was funny. My Bosses son is a administrator too. Does shift work like I do. Well He kept teasing the old man and referring me as his girlfriend. Joe (the old man) always did nice things for me, helped me clear tables and always wanted to feel useful. He just made it obvious that he liked me. The facility holds a total of21 Residents 2 floors. I work both floors Im a floater. Now they are punishing me and forbid me to work upstairs. When you work downstairs you do the cooking, laundry for the day plus take care of 8 residents. The bosses son never works downstairs. They are trying to geyt a case against me now saying I took advantage of Joe and took things from him. Help me.

You should call the number at your facility that handles grievances. Call the corporate number too. Sounds to me like there's a little more going on than what you've explained...not on your part so much...but on theirs. They sound like they want you to be fired. They sound jealous of you in some way.
Ok, so you took these offerings from the client, the patient. Next thing you'll be hearing is that you took money...be careful here. You could be set up to be the fall guy for a theft of some sort. Think about it. Stay where you're at for now away from the drama. Sounds very suspicious to me. You probably thought it was a harmless thing to accept these "gifts". It was harmless. The only thing to remember from all of this is next time JUST DON'T ACCEPT SMALL OFFERINGS OF THANKS like this IN FRONT OF ANYONE. If so, return the gifts to the patients room and make sure that someone knows you've returned it. I do believe that no employee should ever accept anything from a client in a setting like this.
