Chicago is at the Southern tip of Lake Michigan on the east side of the state of Illinois. In the Northeast side of the middle of the United States of America look at a map

Let's see - since you haven't told us the starting point, go and spend a few bucks on a GPS and look for that big city next to Lake MI that is in Illinois, okay? And when you get there, find a restaurant called Ed Debevics because I think you're in a great need for an asskicking!

Chicago is on Lake Michigan. If you are from out of state, both O'Hare and Midway Airports are part of the city.
If you are driving, take 294 or 94.
