several actually, but I am pretty much the been there done that person, and am pretty worn and torn.. lotsa good times though. I had a conversation a year ago and the guy said you have had an exciting life and when you are going through it it seems pretty normal. What I think is when you get into the situation it seems normal, valor is not a question about a certain situation it is a way of life, cuz this really is both a scary, and friendly world, exciting and boring, happy and painful, lonely and yet so many are lonely so how does that happen we are trapped inour own viewpoint (well many of us) and others see either valor or exciting, and each just experience life as Robert Frost said at the 1960 inaugaral address, it goes on. i don't get it and after reading this you probably don't either.

Yes but she died when she was 10 years old. She was an amazing young girl with a loving soul. Through her illness with Leukemia she was more concerned with those around her and her family than herself. She had an amazing faith for one so young. She herself told me that she was dying soon. It was months before and she was still in remission. She knew. She was only concerned with how her mother would take things. She died on week after her 10th birthday. A week after Valentines Day.She is why I chose to be a nurse.I was 14 when she died.
No she was a child who lived near us. We lived out in the country. I was her only friend even though I was "too old" to play. There was no one else and she could not attend school.

Yes the people of my community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast who stay positive and hopeful despite all the troubles they are having have valor. They inspire me to not give up myself and to feel like I am a part of them.

I watched a television documentary on Progeria, the rapid aging disease. Those children had the best attitudes in the midst of that horrible disease. It was very inspiring. I sometimes get frazzled being stuck in traffic! It truly convicted me.

yes there was a lady who stood by her husband after a mine took off all his limbs in Nam with nothing left to attach artificial limbs. he wired her and offered her a divorce but she wired back saying she was planning on getting pregnant when he got home. they have 3 of the sweetest children and think this lady deserves an award for her proof of love.

watching my dad go through 3 years suffering from cancer , knowing it was terminal
yet every day he lived to the fullest
cared deeply that everyone around him would be ok after his death
made sure his finances were in order
had holidays , bought mum beautiful gifts and left her with beautiful memories
he said in the end he wanted to see past christmas and have one that no one would ever forget
he did that ... and i remember him from that day
in his wheel chair with his santa hat on and kids on his knee
he showed me courage that i will never forget and if i can be half the person he was ... i will be very happy
