I went to a private school & they used to give us "whacks" with a paddle as punishment. Depending on what you did determined how many whacks you got.

My parents used any number of items....A belt was a favorite since this was handy. You can go to stores and get those wooden paddles with the rubber ball on the string, those were also used, but they broke easily.
A paddling could also be called a whooping or a butt beating or any number of things.

There are plenty of good sites where you can order spanking paddles, both leather and wood. Drop me a line and I'll send you the email addresses.

LOL! I get paddled sometimes, well actually its the implement of choice for the one who spanks me and she got hers from a friend in the US who has a dom friend.
You can get them on ebay but they are junk. Try typing in spanking and stay away from the junk. Be careful which one you pick they are wicked and one more thing....they are not for use on children!

My paddle was given to me by a teacher that was retiring. She had used it in the classroom back when it was legal. It is now the most unpopular item in my home:)

The nuns and priests used to use them years ago in the orphanages. Terrible form of punishment. Its like a thick cricket bat. Where you would get them I dont know. Hopefully nowhere

I know it as patacaking, it's when a cat sat on your knee plucks at your clothes with it's claws. Cat owners will know what I mean cause all cats do it. It's a sign of contentment.
Otherwise it is walking in water, usually in the sea or a lake in your bare feet.
