No longer than that night, dump it in the morning as it contains many chemicals that concentrate on standing, and cover it over while standing to keep any bugs or dust getting into it.

As long as your home is not full of dust or you don't have cats, water is good for a while.
Try what I do instead, use a water bottle by the bed. With a cap on it the water is good just about forever, even tap water.
I've had water in a bottle last me weeks onend without a problem. I've been doing this for over 20 years. I just refill the bottle when it is empty.

actually tap water is quite safe if left at room temperature, surprisingly. I believe it's because of the chlorine in it. you can leave it for a few days and it will still be safe, especially if you haven't touched your lips to it. the danger is the bottled water, which doesn't have the same additives to prevent bacterial growth. bottled water, once drunk from, should be kept in the fridge or used within a few hours to prevent bacteria. I had a reference from the internet (I answered this question before) but I can't find it right now, sorry

Depends on the concentrated amount of bugs and dust flating on top of the water. Seriously, why not cover it with something if water is so costly that you can not afford to take the time to put fresh water out each night?

i take advantage of the bottles that got here with the pump w/their lid on it despite if it rather is in basic terms going to be stored for a quick time, and that i save it in the refrigerator. in case you're making plans on storing it for various hours, purchase breastmilk baggage (they are spectacular!) i admire the lansinoh sort on the grounds which you could write on it with a common pen, and you will use. you could keep breast milk in the refrigerator for 2 days, in a separate freezer for a pair of months, and in a deep freeze for 6 months (i've got additionally heard a year on that, yet i'd carry on with 6 months). as quickly as you thaw frozen breastmilk, you should use it interior of 24 hours.
