It has been 2 weeks since my knee surgery where the doctor removed damaged meniscus, removed loose fragments and debrided joint surface. Even today, I feel pinching/pulling on the medial side when I walk or get up from sitting position. After a short walk the pinching becomes quite uncomfortable and I have to stop. I have been taking phyical therapy. I am wondering if this is to be expected or the doctor did not do a good job? The doctor did observe a moderate degree of arthritis. Sharing a similar experience by any one will be helpful.

Keep going to physical therapy.
the pulling and pinching you describe are normal , I have them still ,had my surgery in January, but it isn't bothersome or painful anymore.
Your knee got altered , it will not be the same as it was before.
Ask your doctor for Surpatz injections for the arthritis...they helped me tremendously.
Feel free to send me a message for further info.
Good luck.

I had it done about 5 years ago and did experience the pinching and pulling. It will go away in time. Just be patience.
