I have a pompom dog that is in heat. I have a male pompom that tries to do his job but the female takes off as he trys to insert. Why do female pompom do that?I don't know if she is in heat all the way or not.

I assume you are talking about a pomeranian. In all my years of dog ownership I have never heard of a pomeranian being called a "pom pom" dog.
It is obvious that your ***** is untested and doesn't know what to do. An experienced stud will make her stand still but if he is inexperienced then you will need to hold her in place.

she's not ready yet.. even if she is bleeding, it may take a few days for her to be in full heat. Let them run around together a little bit once a day and you'll know when she is :-) Good Luck. Pom Puppies are soooo cute!

The female will only be receptive when she has completely ovulated. It could take a week longer. Don't worry, she'll let him have it when she knows she is ready.

To be honest, u do no longer desire from now on pets. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that that's ur call. i assume it might get alongside with the rabbits, however the pigs i think of he might hunt on intuition. yet im guessing the pigs are a minimum of in a cage, so u could desire to be ok.
