couple girls told me that I will do a lot better with tips from the regular guys if I wear tiny shorts, mini skirts...tight tops etc...and not to wear my wedding ring or diamond....I want to make as much money as possible should I do this? I am 28. They also said I should NEVER talk about my husband....

That would be the first I've ever heard of a guy caring if a girl is married in a bar. Men tip no matter what if they get good service.
If you want to look like a tramp, be seen as tramp, dress like a tramp than listen to them.
If you want to make good and honest tips than behave like a lady.
Is the stress you could put on your marriage worth all of this?
Or would you prefer to be able to go home with self respect and dignity? And face your husband as his wife and not a whore??
Think about that please, your marriage has got to be worth more than what you are being told to do for a few extra pennies.
There is no need to talk about your hubby, just wear your rings with pride. The only reason not to is to avoid losing them while working.
Nice snug jeans will go better than the "Daisy Duke" look for most men (we have an imagination and like to use it!) Whatever you wear, you need to ask if you would wear it in front of your father or uncle.

Well - what ever it takes to make a little extra money. I mean it's just shorts, mini skirts, things you'd probably wear out anyway so if it's going to make you make more money I'd do it. And don't talk about your husband - your just asking them what kind of drink they want and getting paid - your husband doesn't have to be the conversation - in fact - other than the normal "Hi - what can I get you" - I wouldn't have any conversation - besides "Thank you".

Money is the root of all evil. Do not sell your life over cash that you hold today and tommorrow is gone. weigh, which one is valuable your family or cash. Do not listen to those girls. It is not good to live a lie, taking off the ring and not mentioning your husband is a lie. You might even go to an extent of cheating your husband because afterall he is not existing when you are on that partime job. How long will you live like that. Never allow anything to detour you from who you are. Please listen to your conscience before it is too late and do what is right.

You will probably make more money that way, but I would speak with your husband if you decide to make that decision. You seem like you care about him very much, so don't risk making him think you're betraying him in some way. I would go for it if I were you, as long as your husband is happy and you don't feel as though you are somehow losing your dignity. I think it is perfectly acceptable and a sensible thing.

This is something you need to talk to your husband about. Its just money is it worth your dignity and your wedding ring? Think about it, if your so hard up for money sell your wedding ring then you don't have to worry about wearing it since your considering not to. Then you have the money and you don't have to dress like a prostitute.

They are so right. Dress as sexy as u can and dont wear your wedding ring. You'll get hit on by lots of men and they'll tip you just to show how much you like them. U dont have to date any of them or take any of thier numbers. If they ask just say u have husband, but dont just freely bring him up

Girl the clothing is optional- but itd b easier - maybe
In my experience if you can talk a good *** game- youll be auight
and the girls that told you that, next tyme they come behind the bar tell your male customers (whisper) watch thys - drop sum so one of them short short wearin girls has to bend over to pick it up jus say hey could u get that for me real quick-
hell then turn to the guy wink n say wheres my tip lol tell him your jus playin n start talkin shyt to they ***-

Wear really short shorts with no panties, and a top with no bra. You can leave the ring on, or you'll get hit on too much. Don't mention your husband unless you're asked.

Actually they are correct. Sad, but very true. HOWEVER if you have a FEMALE customer there with someone she is obviously involved with, then it is a good idea to mention your husband. She won't feel challenged by you and will leave you a bigger tip.
