I almost always cook everything at home. (cheaper and healthier) Have to admit to having a bit of a bigmac addiction. Trying to limit that this year!

About two years ago I was in a job where I was working around 15+ hours a day and I got into a really bad habit of not cooking and just living off takeaways and ready mades. Then I got pregnant and started to take better care of myself. The real crunch came when I started to wean my daughter. I wanted to get her used to eating good, healthy food so now I cook pretty much every meal from scratch using organic ingredients. I think it's important that she grows up liking food and understanding about preparing it and I have to do that by setting a good example.

I still cheat about twice a month though and treat myself to a takeaway and give her something that I've pre-prepared and frozen.

Prefer to cook my own but then at times I do give in and have a take-away/ready meal, generally when I am too tired to do otherwise. Consider it a treat.

I like to cook...but take out and ready meals are much easier! I cook maybe 85% of the time (during the week)

I cook my own. At the moment I've got a lamb casserole with dumplings in the slow cooker, and I'm making some mash. I've noticed a difference in how I feel when I cook from scratch to when I have takeaways and readymeals. My depression is more managable when I eat healthily.

I prefer to cook on my own. Its much healthier. Only once in a while, say once a week, I do take aways.
