Fat loss, which is why you need to do cardio right now and now worry about either one. No joke. You can do situps all day or crunches but if yu have too much fat, your stomach muscles wil not show through no matter what. So unless you are already lean, don't worry about the situps. Now if you are lean, I think the fastest one is crunches, w/your legs bent, ankles crossed on floor. Hands behind head, and then raise both your feet/knees at the same time as your head/shoulders/elbows, and raise them up until your right elbow touches your left bent knee, then lower, and repeat w/left elbow touching the right knee. This creates a twist when you come up on your abdomen, and works your upper and lower abs, while working the side muscles at the same time. Its very effective provided you keep the small of your back pressed against the floor and are already lean enough for muscle to show through the fat.
