Congratulations, Papillons are fantastic dogs. The bloodlines with this breed are very pure, there are not alot of inherant problems. The best place to start your search is with the american kennel club, the AKC. Go to the breeds section, on their website(akc.com), and on to Papillon. There will be a link to breeders. If you dont find what you are looking for there, dont worry. Keep on looking, this breed is not very mainstream and the breeders are very protective of their breed and puppies. When and if you find a breeder, make sure they, the puppies, are able to be registered with the AKC. While this might not be extremely important, it show that the offspring are from pure breeding practices. Good luck!!!

Papillons are intense maintance canines yet they make stunning pets, even tempered and spunky. in spite of the shown fact that they could be groomed a minimum of two xs an afternoon. As for bathing a canines as quickly as a month is adequate if the domestic dog is grimy, with consistent grooming the domestic dog can bypass and not utilising a bathtub continually once you're an spectacular caregiver. consistent bathing will dissipate the floor of their organic oils and create epidermis problems. I had a vet tell me as quickly as that maximum canines do on no account want baths in the event that they're cared for precise. Get a sturdy grooming brush one incredibly for long haired canines. approximately fleas, by no potential use a flea collar, the collar rushes the fleas up their nostril, ears and anus which breeds bugs and worms interior your canines. the final outcomes I honestly have found is Hartz extremely shelter Flea and Tick spray .Use the spray at the same time as you're grooming so it gets deep into the fur. I honestly have by no potential had fleas or ticks and that i stay in the wasteland. I honestly have 4 long haired canines and its a excitement to spend a pair of hours an afternoon grooming them. They like it and seem staggering.

They are great little dogs! :-)

Be glad that they're not so easy to find. That's one of the things that makes them still a good breed. Any purebred you name, I can give you a list of medical problems that it's predisposed to. But the more popular a breed becomes, the (much) longer that list gets....due to indiscriminant breeding by people who think they can make a quick buck.

I sure hope you find your pup. I don't know of any breeders I can recommend....sorry. I see about 30 on a fairly regular basis, but they are all spayed and neutered. Even though they were breeding quality, the owners all just wanted pets and didn't want to get into breeding.

Good luck!
