...for money, obviously. I'm also wondering if there is a weight minimum cause I weigh only slightly over 100lbs. Basically I'm curious how to set up an apointment and how long it takes. Also, if you are vaccinated against HepB is that a problem, since the antibodies will be in your blood?

Edit for clarification: Donate was clearly the wrong word. I mean SELL plasma. It's illegal to sell blood, it is a common and legal practice to sell plasma. If you're going to tell me it's illegal to sell plasma then you clearly have not done so and your answer is wasting my time. People who have done so, I hope you can answer my questions with your experience.

No one really DONATES for MONEY (so it's not really that obvious). You got your vocab mixed up. I believe it's illegal to sell blood/plasma...if that weren't the case I would be rich by now.

My husband would donate all the time when he lived in Florida for money, He went to the nearest Red Cross, and you will be screened so carefully if they don't allow you to give blood, Because once screened and the Hep B shows up they may not let you go through with it. Be sure to eat after wards get your shrength back. Plenty of water do drink.

If you are donating (giving away), that is different than selling.
It is illegal in most states to SELL your blood or plasma.
For donation, contact your local Red Cross or United Blood Services.

You don't: you donate blood. Plasma is derived from whole blood. And if you donate you donate. If you sell you sell Obviously.
