Hey let's not try to walk before you've learnt to crawl!
For the timebeing you should stick to doing corn rows. When you've mastered that, then you can go on to cane rolls. Similarly you should get plenty of practice doing single braids before you attempt any French plaits.

i do but only in my own hair. i find it easy but we are all different.
