Should I ask him out?

I'm 13, so I don't know a whole lot about dating, but I really like this guy. I want to get to know him better, but I don't know how we'd get together. Like, what would I ask him? I get so nervous around him and I CAN'T stop thinking about him! I don't know if he likes me and I'm afraid to ask. I don't have much of a self esteem, so if I do as him out and he says no, my self esteem will take a beating! http://www.myspace.com/thekatesteinberg -Please look at all of the pictures. I have natural VERY curly long, brown hair and green eyes with a blue/purple ring around it. I don't consider myself too pretty or skinny. Do you think he might like me? My friend said he was flirting with me, but I don't believe her.

If you can't actually go anywhere with him, just start talking to him and hanging around him! At your age I guess it would be difficult to get out like you would if you were older, but you should at least talk to the guy. You look nice, so you will have no problems finding a boyfriend (especially in a couple of years).

Remember, most people think they are shy. I used to be shy. The only way to get over it is to talk to people! That is also the most effective solution. Talk to people you know and people you do not know. If you don't know what to say, just ask questions and listen to their answers. But you have to talk to people or else they will not know that you want to deal with them. It is very interesting to see how many similarities people share. Good luck!

Hey, I'm only a year older, so I know what you mean...sort of...I think...I hope? `_` hmmm....anyway >,< the only way to get to know someone is to spend time with them. Hence the element of dating. Hey, if I can summon the strength and courage to ask someone to a dance or a date, then you can too! (I'm still surprised I pulled it off...*_*) I don't have much self esteem either, but I managed to do the impossible for me! yay me. wooo. anyway, go for gold!!!!!! Do it now, before anyone else does!!!!!!
And if he says no, IT'S HIS LOSS, not yours. Learn from your mistakes and don't take it too hard, that would be sort of childish...(hey, look who's talkin' ^_^....~_~) g'luck.

take the plunge....guys can be really slow at times so go ahead and ask him out....seize the day is what i always say...dont wait for everything to come to u....take a chance....if he likes u then great if he doesnt then at least you know and you can move on to someone who deserves you. the longer you wait the more chances someone else will come into the picture. for your own good and for the guys wellbeing do not go out with him yet it is illegal for a guy to date a 13 yr old, you are just a kid yes you might have feelings for this guy but just keep it to yourself for now and wait for the right age to date someone .you will cause a lot of trouble than enjoyment.just keep dreaming instead its free and harmless okay ?

i think you should get one of your girl friends to ask him what he thinks of you. that way if he does, you ask him or get a friend to tell him you like him to. i have this prob. too by the way.
