If it wont keep them in, how will it keep them out?

Of course not, it won't keep them from getting in either.

It is a total waste of money. Put the money to better use and enforce the current laws on immigration, require the states to assist in this enforcement.

Nope, fence has existed in areas of Califas for years and they still find a way under, over, through, or around. It's a political finger in the dam. I look for the whole issue to be tabled say, November 8, 2006 for about 18 months.

As for NEEDING anyone for field labor, there are many ways to argue the point, but necessity is the mother of invention. If there are machines that exist to pick the kernels off the corn cob, I'd wager there's a way to pick grapes, chile, lettuce, watermelon, or any other lame excuse used to give amnesty to anyone who gets across the border.

All Things Considered, October 6, 2005 · A record-setting 464 illegal immigrants have died this year trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border. Cities along the border pay high costs, storing bodies and conducting autopsies before they can be either buried or shipped back to Mexico or Central America.

OUT of America? Who is trying to get out? Last time I checked it's pretty easy to go from America to Mexico despite fences. I've done it and so have a lot of other people. No one is sneaking out of America.

Of course not. The person in charge may do something of such range to calm the anti-immigrant individuals out there, but the truth is that the fence is nothing but a cover, after all, undocumented workers are more than needed.

The only way to keep illegals out is to put a giant force field surrounding the entire country, and whatever goes through the force field gets fried.

No! and if you knew the truth you'd also KNOW that we don't want to keep the illegals out because we need to EAT. Who else is going to pick the gringos fruit? At least in other nations like France, and Greece ..southern Europe they pick thier own grapes. Here in America the White northern European can't..they NEED foriegners for field labour!
